Meet the Kilworth Chiropractic Team
Hi my name is Kate Biggane,
I have been employed at the Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic for the last 18 months as a Chiropractic Assistant. My job is very interesting as I get to help a lot of patients who visit the clinic. I enjoy working in a busy clinic environment. I also have a good rapport with all the patients. I would consider myself as being a good communicator and an outgoing person which also helps in this caring profession. My hobbies are cycling, walking, gardening, music and I also play golf. As I lead a pretty active life I get Chiropractic treatments from Dr Bates on a regular basis and I benefit greatly from them.
My name is Catherine Gleeson.
I am originally from Co. Waterford and now live just outside of Kilworth with my husband David and four girls Anita, Jennifer, Claire, and Susan. Two of the girls are in College (one studying to be a Chiropractor) and the other two are in Secondary School. As a family we lead very busy and active lives. We all have regular chiropractic treatments to keep us fit and healthy. I have been employed at the Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic as a Chiropractic Assistant for the past nine years. I find my job very interesting and over that time I have met so many interesting and lovely people. I have learned a great deal about Chiropractic care and its many benefits. Through my work I have had the opportunity to attend many chiropractic courses both at home and abroad. My hobbies and interests include walking, reading, cinema, theatre and I am currently doing a conversational Irish course. I work with a great group of people which makes work a very nice place to be.
My name is Maura Hynes.
I am married to Ciaran and we have 3 children, Anna-Maria age 19, Ciaran age 15 and Trevor age 12. We live in Kilworth village and have a family run construction business and Ciaran is a football coach in his spare time. The boys are also very involved in sports e.g. football, hurling, handball, rugby and pitch & putt. Anna-Maria is a trainee hairdresser. I came to work as a CA in Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic 4 years ago. Nowadays, with the stresses of our hectic schedules and usual knocks, on and off the pitches, we are all treated at Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic. With quick intervention injuries do not become major problems and aid a quick recovery. We also have regular treatments as a preventative measure for everyday sicknesses. I find my job very interesting and varied and together with the girls and Dr Bates we make a great team. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed but always professional. There is nothing more satisfying, having answered the phone to a patient who is suffering, than seeing that person leaving the clinic feeling better. It is great to be part of something that can make difference to people’s lives.

I am married to Michael and we have 3 children, Padraig aged 19, Ian aged 16 and Rachel aged 11. We live in Fermoy. I have been working at the Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic for the last 4 years. It is a great place to work and we all make a great team. All my family get treated at the Clinic. I would consider myself to be a very outgoing person. My hobbies are reading, music, socialising and walking (sometimes).
